Jews in Solidarity with Palestine

January 14, 2009

Stop the U.S.-backed genocidal Israeli war on Gaza!

• Nearly a thousand women, men and children killed by U.S.-made Israeli bombs
• Thousands more wounded
• 1.5 million under siege for the past 18 months, without food, water, medicine, fuel
• Collective punishment for resisting occupation; emergency aid blocked
• Massive violations of international law
• Apartheid wall
• Racist oppression
• Homes and land stolen
• Forced into refugee camps
• 60 years of occupation, from the river to the sea

We Say Enough!

We Are
Jews in Solidarity with Palestine

No to Israel! Yes To Self-Determination, Democracy & Freedom!
Stop U.S. Funding of the War on Palestine!

The whole world is horrified by the murderous Israeli assault against the suffering people of Gaza. From Seoul to Caracas, from Johannesburg to Amman to London, millions of people have poured into the streets to demand an end to this genocidal campaign, which is funded by the United States and carried out with U.S.-supplied weaponry.

There have also been protests in U.S. cities. While most of those marching are Arab-Americans, many African Americans, Latinos, Asian-Americans and whites have joined in. Many Jewish people, outraged at Israel’s war crimes and anguished that they are carried out in their name, are speaking out.

It’s good that Jewish people of conscience are disassociating themselves from the Gaza aggression. But it’s not enough. This atrocity is only the latest, and it’s no aberration. It reflects the program of the Israeli settler state—which is based on the theft of Palestine, the ouster and suppression of the Palestinian people, and the racist ideology of Zionism—and of its primary sponsor, the Pentagon and U.S. business establishment.

It’s not enough to oppose the bombing. It’s not enough to demand an end to the 41-year occupation of Gaza and the West Bank. We stand in complete and unconditional support for the self-determination of the Palestinian people. This includes the right to return to Palestine, from the river to the sea, and the right to democratically determine the form and the future of the Palestinian state.

Nothing less will undo the historic crime of al Nakba—the 1948 catastrophe of the establishment of the state of Israel based on the ouster of the Palestinian people from their homeland, oppression and inequality.

That crime betrayed the whole history of the Jewish people. From helping topple the czar in Russia and build the unions in New York, to resisting pogroms and fighting to the last breath in the Warsaw Ghetto, opposition to persecution, oppression and racism was central to the Jewish heritage.

We call on Jewish people around the world, including those inside Israel, to join us in reclaiming that heritage. Reject racism and genocide. Reject the Zionist state, the very concept of which is racist to the core. Take the hand of our Palestinian sisters and brothers. Defend their righteous struggle to restore their stolen land and build a democratic Palestine.

This is not an impossible quest. Remember how mighty the settler state in South Africa seemed, only a little over two decades ago? The racist regime there was buttressed by U.S.—and Israeli—support. But it was battered by the unstoppable political and military struggle against apartheid, which gained worldwide support. Apartheid fell, replaced by a new state based on legal equality.

A future of equality for all is possible in Palestine too. Until this future is won, the Palestinian struggle will go on. We stand with that struggle.

If you do not have any religion, then at least be noble and broad-minded in your present life!

January 12, 2009

Dear friends,

In the Battle of Karbala when Imam Hussein was surronded by his enemies and being weak because of his injuries, His enemies attack to his families Tent, then Imam Hussein said:

“If no religion has ever been accepted by you and you have not been fearing the resurrection day then be noble in your world ..”

This is what we should ask those who name themselves Israelite today!

One of Torah Ten Commandments is this:

Exodus 20:17

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

Also it is mentioned by YHWH that:

Exodus 22:14

And if a man borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good

If they are the Followers of Torah then how they should return the Died Mother and babies in Gaza? How they should return Gaza to it’s good state?

But if they have no religion and they are not Jew and they are not accepting the Ten Commandments, then at least they can be NOBLE in this world!!!

What can be the reasoning behind killing and injuring thousands of innocents with Cluster bombs???

What targets Cluster bombs can have other than individule innocent people???

Praise and glorify your Lord!

July 18, 2008

[Quran 20:130]

Bear then patiently what they say, and glorify your Lord by the praising of Him before the rising of the sun and before its setting And during hours of the night do also glorify (Him) and during parts of the day, that you may be well pleased.

Hello Friends,

Five time a day, we should glorify our Lord, before sunrise and before sunset, during night and othe parts of day. And that will help us to be happy and pleased. Also if we avoid to remember God we will have problem in this world as well as the other world:

[Quran 20:124]

And whoever turns away from My Reminder, his shall surely be a straitened life, and We will raise him on the Day of Resurrection, blind.

So If one want to be happy and his life not to be straitened, then should remember God at least five time a day!

I am very near!

June 13, 2008

[Quran 2:186]

And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me So they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way.

God is near,

Always was near.

Just we should open our minds and our arms to him.

Satan and God’s revelations!

April 5, 2008

[Qur’an 22:52-54]

Never sent We a messenger or a prophet before thee but when He recited( the message )Satan proposed (opposition) in respect of that which he recited thereof. But Allah abolishes that which Satan proposes. Then Allah establishes His revelations. Allah is Knower, Wise;
That He may make that which the devil proposes a temptation for those in whose hearts is a disease, and those whose hearts are hardened – – Lo! the evil-doers are in open schism – –
And that those who have been given knowledge may know that it is the truth from thy Lord, so that they may believe therein and their hearts may submit humbly unto Him. Lo! Allah verily is guiding those who believe unto a right path.

Dear Friends,

This is a fact that all God messages sent by prophets to us was attacked by Satan.

Those that have disease in their heart will follow the devil proposes.

And those that have been given knowledge will find the truth.

And God always establishes his revelations later.

God is Knower and Wise;

Easter Message from Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem!

March 23, 2008

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Christ is risen. Indeed He is risen!

I wish you all a Happy Easter full of God’s grace. This will be my last Easter with you as I reach the age of 75 and retire. Yet, and as I have said in my last pastoral letter, I shall remain with you in my prayers and shall continue to accompany you in your happy moments and grievances. I shall work with every seeker of justice and peace until all the inhabitants of this land will live in security and tranquility, in the presence of God Almighty, merciful and full of love to all his creatures. For the sake of all our faithful in our Churches of Jerusalem, and all believers from all religions in this land, Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze and Baha’is, I shall pray, and extend my love to all.

Christ is risen. Indeed he is risen! I pray and ask God to fill your hearts with the joy and hope of the Resurrection. We all live in a holy Land, the land of Revelation, Redemption and reconciliation between the peoples and reconciliation with God, the compassionate and forgiving. Unfortunately, this land remains a land of bloodshed, ignoring its own vocation and incapable of accepting it.

We have witnessed in the past few weeks the tragedy of over one million people in Gaza Strip and over one hundred martyrs who fell there; we also witnessed the victims of the Jewish religious school in Jerusalem; and we still witness every day Israeli incursions in the Palestinian cities and the killing of many Palestinians despite agreements with the Palestinian Authority. We can still hear the voices of anger following the killing of the four young men in their homes in Bethlehem a few days ago. All of these incidents form a chain of inhumane and futile violence, regardless of the party behind it. Facts on the ground prove that violence has failed to achieve the desired security. It remains an inhumane violence and an aggression against the human dignity of the one who is killed and the one who kills.

Of course, this is not the new life that we celebrate with every Easter. The states, the individuals, Israelis and Palestinians, after more than one century of conflict must understand that armies don’t protect their peoples anymore, but expose them to more violence, fear and insecurity, because the weak and the oppressed have also their power that challenges the strong of this world. It is high time to learn the lessons of history and engage in the path of God; it is high time for every people and individual to accept the vocation entrusted by God to them, which is to build societies and not demolish them. Violence destroys and never builds. We are all capable of building because God granted us part of his goodness and power so we can uphold human societies that respect individuals and in which they must vi3ew each other as brothers and as God’s creatures, equal in dignity, rights and duties. Violence can never be a way towards this. God created us and urged us to be perfect and holy as He is perfect and Holy. (cf Mt 5:48).

Despite this, there are hundreds of thousands in both the Palestinian and Israeli societies who send an outcry: peace… peace. And they are ready to make ‘peace now’. But we see also extremists on both sides who are prisoners of their own ideologies and call in the name of God to kill their brothers, while God tells them all: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. We are in need of leaders who can make peace because this is the sole path to put an end to extremism and to start the true way towards security and tranquility. To say that peace is a risk that we cannot take means to keep all of us in the cycle of death and violence. The leaders have to choose between two paths: either peace or increasing extremism and insecurity. We need leaders who are ready to offer their lives for the sake of peace not leaders who issue orders to kill and assassinate and send others to kill or to get killed.

Christ is risen. Indeed he is risen! Amidst the difficult conditions which are worsening every day in our land and in the region, – we remember the death of the Archbishop of Mosul in Iraq and the lives of all Iraqis who have been living a daily tragedy since the declaration of war on Iraq. Amidst these difficult times, we celebrate Easter in Jerusalem and we tell you, brothers and sisters and all of you, men and women of good will: don’t feel weak in front of the death forces working within our ranks. Saint Paul said: “You did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear” (Romans 15:8), but you received the spirit of God to be strong, with the same strength of God and His love.

We celebrate the feast of the glorious Resurrection, which is the triumph of Jesus Christ over death and sin. God grants this power to every human being so that he can prevail over evil within his soul and the evil surrounding him. He grants us all the power to transform hatred and death into trust and love and life that was gifted to us through the Resurrection.

We believe in God and we believe that God is good and His goodness will one day defeat the evil of people who claim that they want to build and maintain security, while their actions transform security into a mirage. It is high time to take new security measures that respect the human being and bring him closer to peace rather than death.
Dear brothers and sisters, this is my last Easter Message as a Patriarch of the Holy Land. I have said earlier and I repeat: I shall continue to pray and walk with you on the difficult path of peace and justice, and on the path of sanctity that God requires from anyone who wants to live and rule this land. I wish everyone a Happy and Holy Easter and a new life full of the spirit and grace of God.

Christ is risen. Indeed He is risen!

Giving up bidding for good and forbidding from evil results mischievous to be your governors!!!

March 11, 2008

Dear Friends,

Imam Ali Advised his Son when he was struck (fatally with a sword):

[Nahj-al-Balaghah will:47]

Do not give up bidding for good and forbidding from evil lest the mischievous gain positions over you, and then if you will pray, the prayers will not be granted.

The most important part of bidding for good and forbidding from evil is claiming against governors.

Iranian people avoided to join the last presidency election and the result was President Ahmadinejad!

So if we still follow that way the result will be worse and worse!!!

I hope more Iranian people go out from Idealist and think realist and rational and choose “Bad” over “Worse”

No one will enter Paradise except Jews or Christians!!!

March 6, 2008

[Quran 2:111,112]

Some have said, “No one will enter Paradise except Jews or Christians!” Such is their wishful thinking. Say, “Show us your proof, if you are right.”

Indeed, those who submit themselves absolutely to GOD alone, while leading a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord; they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

Dear Friends,

Many religious leaders may fear you and may say you that you will not go to Paradise if you are not accepting their kind of leaving and their kind of thinking or don’t follow them!

But God’s words are not that!

If you have any religion but submit to the creator of universe and lead a righteous life,

Never mind, Take it easy and Laugh to all of them!
